Green floral accords, that is what A Scent by Issey Miyake is all about. Inspired by the mountains of Japan, this fragrance is touted as minimalistic, zen-like and transparent.

A feminine green, floral, woody perfume
A vital gust of wind release from its core
Fresh notes of hyacinth and galbanum
Invigorated by verbana and a hint of jasmine
A Scent is created by perfumer Daphne Bugey, the same nose behind Issey Miyake L’eau d’Issey Une Goutte de Nuage. The notes are: Amalfi lemon, verbana, jasmine, hyacinth, Virginia cedar and galbanum. This fragrance begins and ends with green notes. Floral accords linger in the middle; some musky undertones are present but mellowed and vaguely discernible.
The fresh-cut grass aroma is cool and breezy which is comparable to chilled water in the long run. Sillage, according to reviews, is moderate – about three hours thereabouts then quietly dissipates in the air. The bottle is shaped in block form. According to Issey Miyake’s parfum website, the flacon is actually made from a slab of pure glass. A Scent is sheer freshness inside out – from the clean scent inside to the clear bottle that holds the liquid together.
A Scent by Issey Miyake is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml eau de toilette.
